Wood Sales and Management

Responsible for lumber and pallet sales, day to day support, management, and long term success of all wood operations.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Develop new business and maintain existing accounts
Work with management to establish selling strategies and tactics that result in new account business generation and consistent growth with existing accounts.
Ensure ongoing business by maintaining and nurturing all accounts.
Analyze prospective customer's needs and meet those needs via proposals and negotiations.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations, complaints and scheduling of deliveries and providing customer follow ups.
Schedule and complete weekly cold calls and tele-prospecting

Responsibilities:
Monitors supervisors and managers to ensure that safely regulations are followed, warning or disciplining those who violate safety regulations.
Plans and schedules operations to meet supply and demand needs.
Changes operations or methods to eliminate unsafe conditions.
Monitors all operations to identify and solve problems, improve work methods, and ensure compliance with safety, company, and government regulations.
Coordinates with supervisors and managers to determine operations methods, crew sizes, and equipment requirements, conferring with mills and company executives, as necessary.
Coordinates the selection and movement of products from storage areas, according to transportation schedules or production requirements.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Knowledge of hardwood and lumber species
Familiarity with units of measure for specific wood materials (bundles, pallets, etc.)
Experience in sales and account management with strong communication skills
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience managing 50 - 100
people
Self-motivated and able to multi-task with ability to manage time and meet deadlinesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
